Power Pole with Misty | Sat Aug 10 @ 3pm
Int/Adv (Spin) | Must be able to climb & invert from the ground | Bring shorts. Heels suggested.
Focus on dynamic, show stopping power spins with exotic heels based choreography. Explore flares, inversions, and expressive spins, combining slinky exotic flow with fierce tricks and transitions. Learn to fly with the power of spinning pole!
Tricks & transitions may include: texas tornado, forward flares to backward spinning inverts, and various low flow spins! Modifications will be provided.

Handed down through OG dancers, these low-risk, high-reward tricks are designed to add showgirl flare & maximize pizzazz while smoothly transitioning in and out of jaw dropping tricks.

Description: Come learn and work on any trick you want in this open-level tricks workshop! Please send me the tricks you want to work on. It will essentially be like open pole but with instruction. I can help troubleshoot tricks, such as adjusting form and technique, to bring you closer to success in tricks you’ve been working towards! I will also teach some tricks for the entire class but they will be optional. Each student will receive guidance personalized to their body and capability. If you don’t have anything specific you want to work on, you can DM me and I can suggest tricks for you (ex: handspring, brass monkey, iron x, jade, jallegra, moony, satellite, janeiro, etc.). Students will warm up on their own so they can tailor it to the tricks they want to work on (students can come 15 mins early to warm up) but you are welcome to follow along with me as I warm up.

Description: This workshop will focus on some aerial trick sequences with fun transitions and refining techniques. Tap into your ethereal form as you indulge in each shape you create; let’s transform pole tricks into something more. With attention and intention, you can emulate words and convey your feelings. Intermediate to advanced students are welcome! Heels are encouraged but not required.
Pre-requisites: must be able to execute basic pole holds, pole climbs, and inverts.

We’re trying something new this month! I am opening up my first ✨SPIN POLE SENSUAL FLOW✨ class on Monday, May 20th! I’m catering this class for beginners to open level skill dancers. So much of spin pole flow is intuitive, and in the moment. We learn to tune into ourselves leaning into our natural bodies flow around the pole while incorporating some choreo.
And as always a big favourite- we have a ✨STATIC LOW FLOW✨ class happening on Tuesday, May 28th.

Description: learn how to safely execute and exit int/ adv tricks with aceline! tricks will be broken down in detail so even if you don’t get it, you will have a fundamental understanding of how the trick works! variations, modifications, and adjustments can be made to accommodate to your level. heels optional but always welcome (some tricks may be harder with heels on). most tricks in video can be taught upon request but planning to teach #pdpegasus #pdbondagesplit and maybe 1-2 more tricks depending on time!
